- Residents who have enrolled either through agencies appointed by the Government of Karnataka or through the register general of India are requested to keep acknowledgement slip provided at the time of enrollment safely.
- This will be useful for checking the status of enrollment, downloading Aadhaar letter from website and also in the event of loosing / misplacing / not receiving Aadhaar letter.
- Please demand the acknowledgement slip from the operator.
- Ensure that the details are captured properly during enrollment and check the acknowledgement slip before leaving the enrollment center.
- Residents already enrolled under NPR need not enroll again for Aadhaar separately.
- Residents already enrolled for Aadhaar with UIDAI need not provide biometrics again while enrolling for NPR.
- Enrollment is free of cost.
- Residents may check the status of enrollment at http://resident.uidai.net.in/check-aadhaar-status or SMS (type UID STATUS EID and send to 51969) or call Toll free number 1800 300 1947.
